Hi all ,once again sorry for the last post. This is the second time I've typed this as the first didn't go thru,so I'm cutting back on details and cutting to the chase.Friday the 10 th I took my daughter to spot X and got a 35cm dusky and a nice 52 cm GT. ;D

Went back Sat arv by myself and got diddly squat :(

Went back Sunday arv with my son and got a few undersized Moses Perch and a nice little Morgan's cod that was right on 35cm ;)
Cheers.

Taking the kids fishing you must be a very patient man. But you got to love the look on their faces when a fish comes in. :)

Kids bring luck when fishing - everyone knows that???!!! :-/ :-? ::)

I'm sure they love it, and anything that puts them in the great outdoors is a plus. Your "spot 'X'" seems a good one - good variety coming out of the creek these days, and (almost) all good eating too! :)

Well done sharkbaithoohaha! ;)

I used to have a little bit of trouble and patience issues with the kids when they were younger and fishing. These days it's just give them a bag of SP's and tell them to go cast till they have had eough. SOmetimes they come back with a fish sometimes not. SP's are the best ever invention for getting a kid to fish IMHO. My 2 boys were hard to get started, they hated just sitting there, these days one more than the other is keen to just chuck SP's around and see how his technique is. We will get as many DVD's as possible to watch befor e a family holiday to Burleigh this year and then have a real blast i think.
