Hi All

A late report due to work commitments and a thrashing on Day 1 of the Ashes today!

Took out good mate Phil-et for a few hours before work on Tuesday for a SP session at Wello. Things were much slower than the previous days but we still managed to pop Phil-et's cherry! He won't admit it but i think he now agrees that fishing SP's is fun - especially as he bagged the only 2 keepers at 54cm & 45cm on his first go on SP's.

TINN & REMO, don't fall over laughing but he now can't bag us for using SP's as these are the 1st Snapps he's ever caught... and NOT ON BAIT! ;D

Sh*it T1 you piss me off, im still struggling to get over my 41 cm Barrier ;D, congratulations are due though to Phil-et, he must be in good hands, have been hooked on the sp's since my first fish 6 months ago, am off to Peel Fri morn to try and beat the record.

Hooray... long awaited report ::) had to see the pics - otherwise the fish were just "alleged" ;D Something about that whiting rod mate - you may have to ditch the graphite and go the elcheapo set - you might catch more fish :D

Good going T,

I need you to rub some of your famous luck on my boat for newbies. :D :D I am taking an 'ol mate out this Sat. He always listens to what I have told him in the past and caught some awesome fish, but seldom gets the chance to come fishing with me because of work committments. This will be his 1st SP trip, and he even gave me his Shimano reel with Ugly stick to shed the mono for some 4KG Braid.

Wish us luck!! (T1 luck seems better odds ;D)
