what cant the gold bomber catch??

went for a quick throw at a lake around the goldy, put on the trusty gold bomber, after about 10 min of casting got a nice hit on the bomber and i was on, low and behold i had caught a mullet, didnt jag him, he must have chased it,hooked him in the top lip. have caught mullet on bread before,hell even got one on a surface popper but wouldnt have thought a mullet would chase down a bomber...
here is the pic for proof.
if any one else has caught a fish they hadnt expected on a lure would like to here about it.

I caught my biggest whiting(860 gms) on a bibbed lure i made myself

that would be an awesome feeling rufus_kev catching a fish on a lure you made,specially a thumper whiting that size.
