Fished the mouth of Lota Creek for a couple of hours around the low tide today. It was decided that we would just use Squidgie fish in a couple of colours mine being Green backed with an orange belly and black tail, And my mates was the Black back over sparkly clear.
Ran into Richieboy on the way out and he had got a few so hopes were high.
We ended up landing 5 flatties between us between 30cm-60cm, Lost a couple of bigger fish (one nailed my mates Squidgie and then bit through the 15lb leader) and had numerous good hits and takes.
All fish were released very healthily, forgot the camera so didn't even have to pick them up.

Cheers Dave.

Dave

That is a good spot for flatties. I have caught a few there over the past couple of years, plus flounder pike, whiting and small tailor, all on SP's.

lota creek and mouth tinny creek must be one of the underated spots for chasing lizards. great run off areas and drains to work along and it produces some nice fish .Sounds like you had a pretty good morning. Thanks for your report.
