got the late call to go down tweed in my mates boats. we hit the water at a more gentalmenly hour of 7:30am.
flicking sp for bream was the call at the late hour. i was keen to try out my new 2lb flurocarbon i scored for crissy to see what all the fuss was about. started hitting some natural banks and rock walls down the fingal arm and scored some small bream biggest 2 were just on 29cm good fun on 2lb.
also scored a couple of ok flatties as bycatch, which were quite stressful on 2 and 4lb leaders. i got one who went about 60cm on 2lb which i didnt think would come in, nathan got a great fish which gave him heaps with 4lb leader, she went around the 80 cm mark.
a couple of envitable jack like bust offs were experienced but were expected on such light gear.
