Team,
I have done the unthinkable last night and staked one of my BF AT's, with 50 % tread remaining on it.

Does anyone know where I can get a second hand replacement around the Rockhampton area before Saturday afternoon?

I have had a look at a couple of the tyre shops this morning, but they only have a heap of 16inch and almost worn out tyres to pick from. I am hoping not to have to buy 2 new tyres.

I use 31 x 10.5 15 inch.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers.

Hi Red,
Have a go at the BP servo in Yeppoon. Its the servo across the road from Eagle Boys on the corner of James street and some other sreet. You will know the one I mean. They have a good selection so the saleman tells me. There is another place up the road near the Exhaust Center that also sells tyres. You could also try Leydens Tyres in Gracemere.

Eagle,
thanks for the post.

I ended up finding one at Newsome's in Rockhampton. It was a very good deal, so I am happy with it. I headed up toi 9 Mile beach on New Year's Day, which was a good trip as usual. The tide was higher than I have ever seen it up there, and it didn't peak until around 10am, so we headed up to Stockyard Point and loked at a house we are considering renting later on this year. When we got down onto the beach there were a few vehicles about. We ended up with 8 vehicles in our group, all pulled up near the Northern end of 9 Mile. After a swim, a fish and a bbq it was time to head back to Emu Park to get the ute clean before it got dark.

Another sucessful day trip.

Cheers.
