hey mate, I just bought one myself It's an 02 model, I tow my 6mtr ally boat with it. I get about 550k's to the tank, I haven't towed the boat far enough yet to see how much difference it makes to the economy.
cheers lochie

I have a 04 Hilux 2.7 (2wd) Great ute, i love it. We also run a few of them at work and you just cant kill them. They will drink the fuel if you drive them hard. Mine averages 10 to 11 lt per 100 kms. Thats with then air con on and not carrying any weight. But i dont drive the most fuel eccononmical way!

you wen't at jacobs well on sat morning by any chance were you???? ive got a 2,7L 2WD petrol and it is a top ute. just watch them around the 150 000km mark, they are renowned for the valve seals going in them (as mine has) and its about $600 odd bucks to fix...but don't let that put you off. Im getting 500km even out of my tank, and thats with aircon, and i tow my boat (4.2 quinny) at least once a week.
wouldn't go any other brand ute, thats for sure ;)
pete.
