You got a tow bar, and 7 pin plug.
Cut and shut in to the constant live wire on that.

Give Lucky Phill a PM,he has a 12volt set up with lights in exactly the same vehicle as yours.

You only want a cigerette light outlet in the back that you can plug it into or what? make sure you solid all your joints but and insulation tape it when your finished and the joint has cooled off.

Well plucka, my system goes like this:-

I installed a second battery under the bonnet of the Nissan. Connected it to an electric isolator switch. I then ran positive and negative heavy duty wires to a power box in the tray area. There the wires are routed into a Bus bar system ( brass ). There are 2 lights switches running of these as well as 2 ciggie lighter sockets. All have their own fuses. I also have an external switch running flood ( bastard ) lights at the rear of the canopy.

All wires are soldered and heat shrink applied and then encased in flexible conduit. All conduit is zippy tied so no movement is given.

If you do it right the first time, you'll have no probs.
