Headed out from mooloolabah at around 1:30am into a 10-12 knot NE/NW slop which made the going tough the long 55 or so km trip to the north Western Banks, Are we there yet tim?

Didn't have the special bait onboard today , shhhhhhhhhhh cant be showing tim everything all at once.
Continued on with pillys from one of Tim & Rob fishing adventure leftovers but all was good and the snapper loved them.
We were getting a fish a drop and sometimes up to 4 fish each a drift.

Not all fish were put in the esky as the AJ's and Kings were giving my new spin gear a lesson or two. grumble grumble.

We eventually finished up at 9? snapper and some scattered bycatch of pearlies, parrot and a lonesome yellowfin tuna.

Trolled around for an hour or so for 1 strike but no connect. Then headed into coolum and caught 2 mac tuna amongst the thousands or so of fish smashing the surface everywhere. I thought it was raining fish and birds at one stage.

Until next time

Sean

Good going Sean,

I'm amazed the catches of snapper still happening this time of year, love the big knobbie.

Mate did I see your boat down at Reddie Bay on Boxing day? got a quick glance of one in a driveway on the way to the pub ( :-X)

Cheers,
Tony 8-)
