In Tassie recently and was was fortunate to enjoy some wonderful hospitality from Blaze and his family.
We arranged to meet after PM's on the Ausfish Forum(Thanks Steve for a great way of letting people contact each other)
We went for a drive to Blaze's hometown after having a very smooth ride over on the Princess of Tasmania 1
No sooner there than sitting around the table with Blaze and his wife enjoying a coffee.
Good evening at the local pub followed and we aranged that I would go out in his boat next day.
The fish were on the bite at his favorite SPOT X
But as it was well offshore and my back was playing up he decided to give me the Grand Tour of the offshore islands.
Blazes boat is a very heavy fibreglass hull, especially after the reconstruction.
It seems to cut through the waves and gives an excellent ride.
The sea was smooth ,but got to two-thirds of a metre chop West of the Islands
Blaze got Salmon ,they refused to go near my lure.
But I was quite happy with a PB snook.
