G'day,

Picked up a few of these Sunday arvo on the 35s North of Pt Lookout. They were left in an ice slurry overnight, hence the cloudy eyes.

Lots of other boats out there and I'm sure everyone got a feed. The weather was ideal, used the amity channel.
Whales everywhere and no pickers or sharks, not much current and a lite SWly. We got everything to the boat and all were legal, only missed a couple of bites. One of the nicest afternoons I've had in a while.
cheers.

Nice when a plan comes together. Even the fishless days are fun (not too many though).

Cheers

Az,

Sthn 35s (fathoms), was about a 210-220ft slope to the East. Didn't need a lot of lead, a 3-4 drop drift and back again. Did that for around 3 hours and came home. I fish out of Amity mostly and it's only 25 mins to that area. regards

cheers mate, yeh i know the 35 fathoms gives it away but have noticed a few variations in the area .. seems the further north you go the better it gets
