Went to Morgans (Redcliffe Qld) a couple of days ago to get some fish.
While waiting, I had a sticky beak at what else was available.
They looked like bony bream ??? so I asked. After much consternation and asking around by staff, I was told "yes" and would I like some. Politely declined. ;)
I wasn't aware that they could be sold commercially given that there is no netting allowed in freshwater lakes / dams.
Mind you, who would want to eat them!! :o
