Top idea!!
It is the responsibility of the 'mature of age' crowd to provide a healthy and environmentaly respectful base for the young bucks to work on and improve - the future is theirs not necessarily ours!!
Get ot there guys and tell us what you know and what you are learnin'
we are all teachable. Most of all enjoy what you do. Work to live not live to work.

Well put scroman..sunfish run clinics at various schools during the year maybe the young guys could chase that up..but also being on this board I am sure they have dads that could teach them a great deal. go enjoy life.
cheers.

Jaybee,
Just spent an average weather weekend with my dad talking about all sorts of stuff however everything comes back to fishing!
Don't have expectations - you may not get what you hoped for
Don't rely on gossip - seek for yourself and proof will always be more honest
Don't live in the past - tides change and so do our environments - learn to change with them
Beleive in the future because with well educated youth we have half a chance of showing our grandchildren how to catch fish and then watch them swim.
No better way to start then to get to the school kids with clinics etc - times have changed, we can all reflect on years gone by when fish were more plentiful - lets work smarter not harder - fish smart enjoy more, fish hard and fish less in future!
Must be a philosophical evening!
At the end of the day love what you do and hope that others can respect all that is invested in our kids!
Must be time for bed!!!
Scroman.
