Baffle Ck Easter help

I am heading down to Baffle Ck during Easter and staying at the camp ground there. Can any one tell me after 39 inches of rain where the best place would be for Barra and if muddies will be about. I have no knowledge of the Creek or Barra fishing in Qld. All my fishing has been done in the NT where you had to beat the Barra off with an "ugly stick." Mind you that was a few years ago. Also is there a good fishing guide about Bundaberg area that I can short circuit my learning curve. ???
