I'll certainly be there & in the running. What a great competition the Sundowners (??) run. Compare does a wonderful job - has a good face for radio - lord help us all if he gets on the TV ;).

Even if you can't fish it, be there on the Sunday for the presentation. Good music, nice relaxed BBQ & a safe setting for the kids to be kids. Last year showed some XOS fish for less than 2 days fishing.

Jew after jew, 5kg+ tailor (one of which came from within eyesight of Cabbage Tree Boat Ramp if the gentleman was to be believed) , junkyard thug bream that would not look out of place swimming in a school of reds etc - & from the fish barren joint affectionately known as the pin.

Are there any pics of the fish from last year Dave ?

Hey Youngy, you did suggest in the shop that I should enter so I did just that.
My first comp and "slept" on the boat, bit windy Friday night..
Thanks for encouraging me to enter in any case as I had a good time being a lot more focused than usual.

I couldn't crack the 30cm mark so I decided it was too embarrassing to weigh anything in and never made it to the Sunday gathering.
What was the size of the winning Bream?

Hi Burley Boy, i posted the results in ''estuary reports on this site'', winning bream was massive at 1.86kg. cheers wayne.
