I have a Hummingbird Wide Optic, what is the correct setting for sensitiveity(spelling ::)) setting for saltwater?,the range on this model reads -5 to +5. Thanks Touchy ><>.

OK on page 22, it describes Sensitivity.
0 is the default setting, by going UP you increase sensitivity and therefore you will see more ' stuff ' on the screen. I would use this in deeper water.
to decrease the sensivity, press arrow down, this will ' filter' out unwanted and small ' items ', thus, is for shallow water.
That's my reading and understanding of it.
I have a lowrance, and always decrease the sensivity in Moreton Bay........... I run it at 43%, which is below Factory Default settings.
