When you've retired on 16 February 1999 like me, you don't have to worry about working. Working for me is trawling through the posts and seeing which one I can respond to, and hopefully offer some meaningful comment.
The only drawback for me is that I report to the Wynnum Police Station every Monday and Thursday of each week.

I got to work a bit late today, have been in meetings rest of the morning.
Now time to check what is happening.
On the other side I had a rather busy week, quite a few problems at work, so far done 66 hours working since Monday morning, by tonight will be over 70.
A bit too much.

Working is what I've been doing for the last 36 hrs.....................working at staying afloat :-) Will try and post in the reports but atm I've got a boat to clean :-)
Oh yes, the reason *I'm* at the computer right now is 'cause I've just had a phone call to tell me that I'm a grandad.........again :-) and that some photos were in my e mail
Please excuse me the room is going round and round :-[

Hi philip_thomson,
Wife and I are intrigued as to how you got the thunderstorm thingy to appear on your posts. It's very impressive!
Anyway, carrying out duties and directions as I'm required to do from time to time, I was instructed to pose the question:
"How do you do that?" There you go, I have posed the question.
If you reply, I'll get wife to critically analyse your response and then furnish me with a written report which can then be taken to the dining table over dinner tonight with wife's recommendations as to how we might adopt the conceptual approach at that particular point in time, bearing in mind any extraneous factors that may or may not affect the outcome, having also taken into account any other external factors that have a bearing on the total outcome, depending on your response.
Sorry,

Well if trains stop at a train station and buses stop at a bus station, what would you expect to happen at a work station. ::) ;) ;D

you need to post the picture in test board first
then open the picture (click on the attachment title)
copy the link of the picture you have just opened.
in the signature part of your profile type in [ move]"link goes in here"[ /move].
that should then work
(do not have spaces between the [ and m-/)
hope that works
cheers phil

The deckie pays for mine.......do I love her or what??? :)
She told me when I got back that she had found a "lady" who would come in one day a fortnight (for 50 bucks) and top and bottom the house. When I replied that that is why I'm on home duties she replied that I seemed to be finding it difficult to "keep up". I'm still trying to figure out if she was genuinely concerned or simply being sarcastic :-/..........better keep her sweet I suppose......no fishing next week but plenty of cleaning :D
cheers

So you should Kev.We must be the lucky ones. Some people couldn't get their partners out in the boat if they tried.I am lucky to get out without Kirsten and if she could she would buy a bigger and better boat than what we have got now.See you on the water some day.
Cheers Dazza

Hi Phil,
Thanks for your reply. Might have to get wife to play around with it. She's much better at these things than me. She has a lot more patience too.
Thanks again,

Yeah Dazza, you're right. We are lucky. My deckie gets sea sick but she still comes out with me when she can. When we were younger she still came rock climbing with me despite being scared of heights ;D. She's not just a good deckie, she's a good mate.
Seeya out there some day.
cheers
