I know for sure what this species is.
The footage is a little deceptive but should make for interesting comments.

What species do you think this is?
The footage was shot off the end of the Seaway North Wall.

the long skinny 1 up the top right at the end of the footage looks like a long nosed flute fish? and i think the others mightbe pike? There was a flute fish under tullebudgera creek bridge on tues, mayb thier coming into the estuary to breed?

I think land-lubber may be right, there is definitely a flute fish there and the others do look like pike.

very stationary with a calm flute fish swimming thru - i wouldn't think pike (a predator) i'd be favouring mullet - yeah very skinny but they've just spawned or gar etc - underwater pike tend to face the same direction more than mullet - i'm going with mullet.
