My condolences to you and your family John

The time has come to say goodbye
For our mate Touchy up there in the sky
He was a legend in his own right
And didn’t give up with out a bloody good fight
Like all the fish he has caught in the past
He is now free at last
With all the fish he has caught in his day
He is now free to play
Give him a rod or a split bamboo
A rainy day and a snapper or two
In Moreton Bay where the mackerel play
That’s where Touchy gets away
The stocks may rise the stocks may fall
What the hell Touchy’s caught them all
He cast his rod over troubled rills
Luring those beauties by magic skill
With mind at rest and heart at ease
Mate we drink tonight with the Moreton Bay breeze

Nice bit of poetry Shane. I know Touchy would be up there somewhere with the biggest smile knowing that he had such an obvious impact on the Ausfish community. Makes me proud to be a part of such a good bunch of people. Regards,
