Butane Cartridge/Spares - Check your stoves!

This actually stumped me yesterday :o
Gave the boat a real good cleanup, ready for a few chrisse trips,
1. Picked up the stove - felt light
2. Turn it over - No cartridge
3. Ask (Grill) when did it finish and why isn't the spare in?
4. Thorough search of boat!
5. No spare cartridges
6. No WD40
7. No other electrical spray stuff.
8. Checked the Hot Water pump - no cartridge in it either!
What the st*&% ??? ???

Hitched up the first mate, walked over to the camping store to buy more. Only to be told
"Yeh Chroming" we sell stacks of this :o
Have a look in the bins on your way home through the park.
I found them >:( Along with paint and plastic bags.

Just another thing to carry into and out of the boat :(

Yeah I used to live across the road from a High school (also just up the hill from a Primary)... Every day after work I would pick up at least 5 plastic bags from my yard that had been used for chroming (with a few more up and down the street).

Its a sad situation.

Where was your boat parked?? Did they steal them from it in your yard?
