Just new to the site, been watching for the last 6 months and thought I'd like to contribute. this is our first attempt at editing one of our movies so please excuse any stuff ups! i bought my son a new trolling rod for his 14th birthday and a week later headed to sullies reef for our first try at marlin. this is the result of 2 hours trolling. please enjoy

Well done fish freak... i'd say so far you are a serious contender for the competition running. Hope to see more of your vid's before the competition ends!
Was great to see you included some footage of the release... just a pity you cut it short and we didnt get to see it swim away!!
Well done again!

Thanks Cobia Kid, I suppose you are more critical when you've worked on it for hours and hours. We were using 15kg which was a bit of an over kill for that fish, but since it was our first go we didn't know what was around and how big they would be. After we realeased it, we set out our lures again and had not gone more than 200mt when the other rod went of, it was a much bigger fish which we played for a few mins but threw the hook after its 3rd jump, but we wern't that worried, my son was on a high for weeks. He can have that kind of high anytime, there won't be any complaints from me.

Could you PLEASE let me know who the artist was.

music is evanescence (spelling?)
awesome footage- and a job well done by all!!
Your bloody lucky to get one after just 2 hours of trolling- some people go trip after trip after trip to get their first. was that last year?
