ME AGAIN I HAVE GOT 2 DEER SKINS IN MY SHED ANY ONE INTERESTED IN THEM I WILL SHARE THEM AROUND IF A LOT OF PEOPLE WANT IT
No but if you have a white goat hide with long hair I'll take a square foot . Much better than deer hide, in long hair anyway. Dont float. Max

Caveman- Probably not the best if they are not treated.

;Dok, but if they were treated i'd have them as floor mats, :) not trying to get rid of them

Hi Caveman,if you've got some spare hide I would LOVE some, I'm a beginner to flytying and still need a bit of practice. The bass poppers and divers chew the hair up pretty quick but I'm getting the knack.

Max I remember see plenty of goats running about the dunes over near Carnarvon, but man it hard work chasing the buggers down...

I think the station owners actually breed the things. Get money for goats. One time they were open season, but now, dunno. But the white long hair ones are the best. Ron reckons the goat hair has a smell fishes like, no chemicals involved. Max

Max, I'm a 'used to be' bowhunter with a few goat skins kicking about.
Slip me a pvt msg with your details and I'll send you some if they haven't been chucked out.
Cheers, Slates
