Milkies in general

I'm planning a trip to Cape York for the second half of this year (if I can get the cash in time!) I'm very curious about milkfish. I have come across these bizzare things once but never caught one.

Any tips as to tackle and technique for, say remote beach milkies vs harbour/landlocked milkies?
