Id be asking a few flyrodders Jon,,,,Do a bit of reserch as to what guide set up would be best. Ive heared that oversized stripping guides and a larger tip guide can make a great rod(really good casting), but looks alittle strange,thats why you never see them on commercially built rods. Im planing on trying it on a cheap IM6 rod that needs new guides anyway. happy binding .. ;)M Quinn
