Just got back from the expo and had a great time. I don't think there is any place where you can cast so many rods and try so many new lines comming out on the market. The sage xi2 were the best and the winston boren x2 would be my pick for a casting comp rod its so light to cast with. The exhibitors would freely let you take out their rods and line for a cast in the casting alley. It was also good to meet many new faces and organize trips together in the future.
I will be definitely be going next year

Thanks to all those who called in to say G'day at the Expo last weekend, it was great to put a few new faces to names.Big effort from you boys in Queensland - sacrificing a weekend on the longtails ( Which apparently really went off on the weekend ;D ).Special thanks must go to Dave Warnes and Andrew ( WET ) for organising the furum get together/dinner on the Saturday night.
Word is we'll be having the next one in Sydney - June 2005 - see you all there
