Learning to fly

Hi all
I tried to catch a few bass on a fly rod for the first time today and found that its a lot harder than what it looks :'( so i was just wondering if you guys would be able to tell me how to cast a fly rod

Hi Bullux,
the best advice i think anyone could give you is to book the service's of a casting instructor.
there are quit a few around but i can strongly suggest that you give the Rod "Harro" Harrision a call, Harro is undoubtly Australias formost exponent of the Art of fly casting,he'll have you on track in one lesson,this way you will eliminate picking up any "bad habbits" from the start.
Harro has private ponds he teaches casting on out Bribie Island.

I will try and get a hold of him one weekend for a bit of a fish but until then i will just keep to flicking Lures around
