Was wondering if anybody has had any experience chasing Fingermark on fly??? I'm going to try Lefty's Deceivers,Clousers and Bush Pigs...The lines i'll be using are (a)Clear Intermediate from Orvis and (b)Scientific Angler Striper 4 when i want to get down faster....I would really appreciate your input [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] The fish are holding up in a 17ft hole with little structure :) Ross

I'll be all wild and crazy Rosco and suggest LC13 and a brown and black deceiver or a clouser worked slow.

Righto Dave ;) We'll give it a go for sure...Hey Baldyhead..!! A Brookes Blonde is one of the easiest flies to tie mate....All my version involves is some bucktail, tinsle and some small stick on eyes...I'll take a pic soon and post it up mate...Ross

Ross here is a fly that I have used very successfully on fingermark,Grunter, Bream, cod and barra in deep holes in the NT(Limmen Bight area). I copied it and modified it a bit. I use hot melt glue instead of silicone and I wrap some lead wire around the hook shank to get it down and use a sinking line. Twitchy retrieves works well. I also put a mono weed guard on in rocky holes. I have not used one here in Qld but i will one day. I have tied one on a 7/0 without the lead wire and it worked good too....cheers baldy

Caught this one on an Ash's Clonebait, in about 26feet of water.
