thoughts on ratchets?

I once asked a question on the alvey fly reels in this forum.

If I get into saltwater fly fishing must I put up with the centre pin style reels that make me let go of the handle when the fish runs?

I like the feel of hanging onto the handle while the fish breaks the drag pressure I have dialled in.

This question will probably offend the fly purists but is there any other brands of fly reels besides the Alvey that have a drag separated handle?

There are a number of reels available - mainly in the more expensive price range.

Do a Google search on "anti-reverse fly reel" and you'll find plenty of options to think about.
