Mad Mans Challenge Noosa River October 15th
5 species in one day" comp. It will be the same format as last time with teams of two each having to catch the 5 species. A BBQ for all competitors & their families will be held Sat arvo after the comp where the trophies & prizes will be awarded.The 5 species will be Trevally,Jack,Tarpon,Flathead & Pike. Fishing will commence at 6am & finish at 3pm.

SWFFSC is a dedicated saltwater flyfishing club. Our aim is to foster the sport of saltwater flyfishing in a friendly family atmosphere and to provide an avenue for participation in club activities. Male, Female and Junior members of all experience leveles are made welcome. Annual Fees are kept low to encourage family membership. Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month (except January) at the Kawana Community Hall Nanyima Street Buddina. Meetings commence at 7.30 PM, are kept informal with maximum time on workshops, displays and discussions on all aspects of saltwater flyfishing. Regular monthly club flyfishing outings are organised to such places as Poona, Caloundra, Pumicestone Passage Maroochy and Mooloolah Rivers, Hervey Bay, Inskip Point and offshore from Mooloolaba. An annual autumn Tuna flyfishing Tournament is a club feature activity.
