Not many carry them anymore. Not worth the carrying cost they say. The good shops will order them in for you. Just ask around. Tackle Warehouse or Blighs will do it.

Where abouts are you?
The Tackle Shop, Gympie Road, Carseldine get mine in for me.
Generally, I think the range of blanks is to large to stock in the shops for the number they sell.

Budds Bait and Tackle at Cleveland seem to carry a fair range. Ask for Mark. That big tackle shop at Coorparoo on Old Cleveland Road might carry some as well.

Mossop's used to have the best range years ago but I haven't been in there for a while. They are at the Gabba now so try them maybe. Support the local little guys first. Tackle Warehouse at Coorparoo may have some as they do sell all the bindings for making rods.

4 x 4,
Mate, UBD Map 185, Ref H15.
If you're going along Finucane Road from Capalaba heading towards Cleveland, you'll hit a set of lights at Delancey Street. The DPI mob is on your right and Rural Press is on your left.
Finucane Rd stops there and Shore St starts.
You'll have to be in the kerbside lane, because you enter the little street off to the left that runs parallel to Shore Street. You'll see Budds there, a couple of doors down from a large liquor store.
They also sell G Loomis rods there. Not at the liquor store obviously, but at Budds.
To get out again, just go down to the roundabout and go back the way you came.

Get onto GCCR - U wont be disappointed with the range they have including the full range of Hastings Graphite USA, Pioneer, Hastings United blanks - recently they were also appointed the East Coast Distibutors for the range of American Blank Manufacturers - CALSTAR as well as the #popular specialised "Seed" jigging Blank - Put all these together - there is no matching performance blank for purpose in Australia. Forget about importing them, GCCR prices will leave Internet import prices for dead.

GCCR Tackle Services is Importer / Distributor and Wholesale only and not selling retail to the public.
You can veiw his website www.gccr.com.au which should have a list of retailers and or rod builders that should suit.
