I have resently bought an alloy cat with twin 50,s, I was thinking of running one lge fuel tank instead of two,as it has no tanks. If i do this will it starve the motors of fuel when i thottle on. http://www.ausfish.com.au/chat/images/smilies/cwm41.gif

Not if it's set up right but with a single tank you've really lost the security/purpose of twins.
Weight distribution may be a problem depending on where a single tank can be fitted. Normally a cat will have a tank (one in each hull) and separate fuel filter/water separator for each engine and both burn down together.
With a single tank generally if there's a fuel problem/issue then one looses both engines which defeats the purpose of the twins.
Cheers, Kerry.
