i have a 4.55 metre boat, and i have been given a 3.5hp motor, and just want to know if it would be big enough to mount as a trolling motor as the motor on it now does not get low enough to troll.

using a 3.5 motor on yuor boat would
probly work but i would get your big motor tuned up ived beenin boats with all sizes of motors and they all troled ok yours should troll on idle if
its running right
