We do work for Meteor Car & Truck rentals in Townsville. They are about to take delivery of several Polycrafts to add a new dimension to their rental fleet. They picked these after a lot of investigation and they appear to be much more durable than tin boats and they reckon they're cheaper to set up. I'm in the queue for a free test but if you're looking to buy one of these things, you could rent one for a day or 2.

Have a look at http://www.meteorrentals.com.au/index.cfm?Menu=OurRange&PageID=78

This is not meant to be an advert for Meteor, it's just that Polycraft seems to be a topic of real interest at the moment.

yeah i've read and heard a bit about these boats... anyone know what a standard 4.55 centre console package would set you back? or an average guess...

From memory a 4.55 centre console is about $4,200.

The 4.1 tiller is about $3,000.

Trailers cost about $100 more than some others - because you need full slides not rollers.

Motors - no different costs there

Dealers are on the web site www.polycraft.com.au

There is one dealer in Brisbane area that seems to have a sharp pencil when it comes to price. send me a PM or email if you want a name.
