hi all,
looking for some ideas please. just moved into the new house and want to put the boat into the carport. problem is i need 400mm to fit it under. have looked at increasing roof height of carport etc, council wont approve anything over 2.8meters (wall height) so that is out. next would be to modify the canopy. basically need to drop everything down to windscreen height.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated or pic's of other peoples setups
cheers

hinge the bottom where the targa bar goes onto the gunnel/cab and fold it back
any staino guy could do the simple mods required - try marty at seaquip capalaba if you can't get anyone on the coast.

Dazza, as said, you need to hinge the rocket launcher set up. It should be simple from there. Mine is set up that way. Your welcome to have a look if that would help.

I had the same problem with mine in the shed. It took 1/2hr to pull the canopy down every time I took it out. The way I got around it was to put an extension on the shed with the same wall height but a lower floor with a retaing wall inside. A lot of work but now I can put the boat away without touching the canopy.
Good luck

They are easily hinged..Stainless plate under the glass and two stainless bolts either side when upright...
