stringray plate boats

A mate called me up for some advise on a stringray plate boat 20ft 225 yammie 500hrs usual gear, resprayed paint,asking 24,000 boat 20 yrs old, motor 15 or so, told him to forget about it any one have info on this type of boat?

I don't think Stingray are around any more Poss, I've seen the odd one out and about though. I'm pretty sure that Rip Tide pickup up their old templates and was the beginning point for Dave. Dave has modified and developed his brand from that...but yeah, Id reckon 24k for the rig that you described was way out
