Rhys,
It was playing up intermitently so I pulled it out to check what was happening, and I do wash it down regularly and spray it, the pressure sensure had corrosion fowling it up and every screw was siezed in it apart from that it was good inside, when I buy another one I will be stripping and coating everything with Lanolyn.

not stilll in warranty after a year and a half? :-[ thats a bit poor considering you pay through the nose for some deck wash systems. maybe a 6hp mitsubishi pump, 500 L minute will definitly clean the macrel scales and the gelcoat off your deck ;D.

my shurflo pump lasted me about 3 years, replaced it with a flojet and it lasted a couple of months at best. However if you flush them out with fresh or soapy water after every use you should get some more life out of them.

Bashir ,We use them on our boats and haven't had any returned. If they where not lasting we would look at something else.
It is not worth the hastle to us.
I do encourage people to get the salt water out of them and flush fresh water through them when they get home.

BTW I didn't reply to this thread to sell a pump either.
