I dont own one, but i did a small amount of reasearch into them as i have been considering a brand new one for myself. From what i can tell they have a very silimar hull to the old Haines Hunter V17 series (17L 17C 17 R etc)
There has been one for sale at WYNNUM MARINE in qld.
There is a test on the boatpoint.com.au web site that gives it a pretty good review.
I also found this:
http://www.blakesmarine.com.au/haines/hh_prowler.asp
The Haines Hunter Web site doesnt have all that much information on it but has a few photos.
Ive seen them in Sydney advertised new with a 90hp for just under $30K on the water with a basic fit out. Pretty good buy in my opinion. Id upgrade to a 115hp if i could and it wasnt to much more.
The Seafarer Vamp 5m c/console is a nice rig too ..... but i think it costs a fair bit more

Thanks for the reply, I know about the Haines at Wynnum. It has a two stroke 115 Evinrude on it thats done more than a few hundred hours. I would only go a four stroke anyway. I have to sell my Stessel Angler 465 side consol first.
Thanks

Hey Cruisey
What motor where you running ...... and were you happy with its performance with that engine ?
Also, how "rocky" are they at rest .... i heard they are a bit shakey coz of the deep V and only average width beam. I know the boat wont capsize ..... but the comfort stability is what im curious about.
thanks
