Gday all, went to the tinnie show friday looking for a bowrider and initially was just tossing up quintrex 510 or stacer 525. Came across Horizon boats and liked what i saw with their 5150 bowrider. Looks good value for money, small business - attention to detail.

So im just wondering if you have a Horizon boat please tell me what you think of it good and bad.

Or if you know of someone who owns or had owned one also.

Cheers Dan 8-)

Neighbour of mine has a 395 vee nose punt, he loves it. He was tellin me one of the reasons he bought it was because they are made in a small factory and he liked the attention to detail.

Sorry I cant comment on the larger models but he loves his tinny

I was actually wondering what had to be missing considering the price.

G'day
SJ what's missing when price is involved theese days is generally overheads. I have a 12' horizon, matched to a 9.9 merc. She gets me to morton from manly and have done offshore bribie. I have cracked welds through it, ribs and keel line at the bow but with the way i treat it and what i do in it that's no surprise. It's a beamy little boat, always done me well, been honest and always got me home.
