Double Boat Retrieve Wire

I want to rig up a double strand wire retrieve system on my boat trailer & want to know if I attach the pulley to the boat hook or to/near the winch frame of the trailer,any suggestions appreciated,Thanks T.

And if you combine the pulley with an electric winch Touchy, you won't have to do a thing :D

Your other option might be to go to a multi-speed winch.
