Cruising past Crusoe Island on Sunday we noticed a familiar looking rig anchored up off the beach, on closer inspection we had indeed stumbled across Play-Pen the boat painstakingly brought back to life by Bev & Ross. All I can say is what a fantastic job you guys have done, it looks better in the "glass" than on screen. It was also a real pleasure to meet you both and thanks for taking the time to chat to a total stranger (sort of) and his clan. Also great to meet up with Kingtin (kev) and his crew, a great bunch of "real" people who I would find it very easy to share some time and a yarn and a few coldies with. Hope to catch up with you guys again and we will keep an eye out for you at "your" camp spot. Hopefully a couple of pics to follow, congratulations again Ross & Bev its a credit to you both and it was a pleasure meeting some fellow Ausfishers 8-)

Cheers and beers

Scott - It was great to meet you and your family. You're welcome to drop in to "our" camp spot for a yarn, etc. anytime :)

Darryl & Jason - Great to catch up with you guys again :) Hope you caught a feed after you left us.

And to the mystery man in the Cruisecraft? with the teal bimini, who came in close for a look at Play-Pen, then gave us the thumbs-up - Don't be shy next time, pop in and say gidday #;)

hey Bev, Ross, Kingtin and all

it was me in the cruisecraft that was admiring "playpen". I had a couple of worn out kids and mum in the boat at the time and didn't think it would have been such a good idea to break up the serenity of the occasion.

Next time i promise as I would be keen to catch up with some fellow ausfishes. The boat looks great and i know from personal experiance what great boats these are having owned one for several years.

catch you guys next time :)

looks as though I am going to have to take a photo album of all ausfish members boats out with me so I can tell who is who in the zoo...
Wouldn't it be great if everyone had an ausfish sticker on their boat...
I have ordered mine

If you look a bit closer most of the boats bar The Play Pen wich has just been rebuilt, and moniker which might have one on the transom they all have them.. Mines the Caribbean (Lanny) it has stickers, Jason (Longtail owns the tinny down from me, it has stickers.

Then theres Kev's whittley that has them and Kevs tinny in there somewhere that also has them. They are there ya just cant see them mate.
