hey guys my old man has got a 186 pride albatross that we are doing up was jsut wondering on approximate price to get it resprayed from your experiences.

I recently resprayed my 15ft Fibreglass (yellow top....cream hull). I had been quoted $3000+ but doing it myself cost approx $500+ using 2-pac polyurethane and a small compressor from Bunnings.

I got minimal paint runs and the finish was very good. I believe that the cost savings far outweighed the preparation and time spent in restoration.

If you're anyway a decent handyman then my advice is to consider having a go yourself
