Gaday Zeeke mised ya at BP saturday seen Tim though.
some nice fish there did ya eat the Jewie ????
the wife and daughter both got a yella each 45 and a 47 for the grub, maybe at the gathering on the 5th dec i'll get to say gaday :-/

G'day Cloud, nah mate, didnt eat the jewie, it was my first freshwater fish in 13yrs.. so i popped it back in the drink.. kept 2 bass tho, see what they are like, very clean looking fish when i cleaned them out.. wheres the gathering on the 5th???

bass is ok to eat if you season in with something. a little dry

we had the bass last night for dinner, bloody beautiful, smoked it in the smoker with a wine flavoured bark.. absolutely melted in the mouth and wasnt dry at all.. very very moist ..

Im on the Sunshine Coast.. Maroochydore to be exact..

Good stuff guys, nothing better than a happy fisho :D

Surprisingly good eating those fish from BP Dam, almost pass them off as reef fish when filleted up :o :o

I'll be up at BP from the 27/12 through till New Year, hope my lures get hammered again ;D ;D

only problem with freshwater mate is ya cant thrash it to a nice froth like ya can in the salt ... hope ya do well Craigie
