Teemburra on the full moon

Spent Saturday night at Teemburra for some full moon. The fishing was a little tough with only five fish between two of us. The day started windy from the south but dropped out after dark.

Across the dam, trolling seemed to be the go but I did see some Barra caught on rubbertails and we had a bit of action on surface lures. It was good to see some nice Sooties caught also, the Sooties in Teemburra have grown well and are deep and chunky for their length.

This one went 41cm and was caught trolling about 10.30pm :)
I spoke to a fella who got amoungst the Sooties casting under roosting shags first thing Sunday morn, two new lures sacrificed on touch down :o lucky this bloke works at a tackle store ;D

Darren's Barra caught trolling Sunday morning.

What secret herbs and spices did you use on this one Darren?? :D

Sliced up some tomato and onion, added some butter, garlic, salt and pepper and wrapped it up for a slow bake. Lovely tell ya mother!!
