G'day Caveman, nice cod :) I used to have a few of those spinner baits (the yellow and pinky ones) but the skirts melted in the tackle box ::) >:( ::) Might have to by some more if you seem to reckon they work
Cheers, Lachie

lachie don't put the skirts anywhere near any hard plastic as they seem to have some sort of chemical reaction also most of the soft rubber types do the same

g'day, i agree that those lures work well they may not be as strong as others but i've caught my biggest bass 52cm on the yellow/orange one.

G'day Gary...
U can get them in tmba...nearly everywhere has em in town...
Aren't they the best fish...Never grow sick of em... If only more people helped in the fight to protect and restore the stocks we have left...
Luke: that bank at Somerset ain't a bad one ay :o Me and stoney were going to have a go off the bank today at cooby but he went all soft...said it was to cold ::) he must have been wearin' his skirt....I reckon there should be a cod or two about....
Cheers

yeah as i previously said i am sure this particular single bladed model is at kmart the others are quite common. gary you are privelidged to have properties etc to go on to they are hard to come by. the couple i can get on to i respect their wishes evry time as you want to keep coming back.

We released these fish.
Didn't want to hold this fish up for pics incase we injured it.
It was 126cm and weighed at least 75lb.

The other cod we caught was 60cm, I also caught 2 yellow bellies or callop at 37cm and 43cm.
The most productive 4 hours I've ever spent trolling in the Murray.

Good fish. Shame there get so bloody ugly at that size. Is it common for Murray cod that size to lose their colouration or is it just something the cod from the Murray river have in common.
