Wam...thanks mate, its more monumental for me as it is my first Sootie. Terribly poor photo. Yes, they go for just about anything splashing across the top of glassed out water early in the mornings. They are great little hitters.
I managed this one using a diving lure that got fouled during the cast, it still got blammed!!!

randal- did you fish from your boat? i am heading up there in sept and am going to fish faust for a day... was planning to go with a guide- any recomendations?

Jeffo....yes mate we fished out of our own boats.
Contact Prossy Bait and Tackle and talk to Lindsay. He is the guru guide up there and you wont be dissapointed. He will get you onto a metery.
