That's one mighty good fish Murrayscod. Every time I see one of those Australian bass, I can't help but see the similarities between them and the kind we have here in the US. It looks like a cross between a large-mouth, a small-mouth, and a white bass. They must be so fun to catch. They have "fighter" written all over them. Congratulations and good luck in future too.

No this one was kept cause i was keen to try out how somerset bass tasted. not good either! yeah the hat is a regular gives me good luck and keeps the sun off too! Yeah el_carpo they sure do go hard i spose dont grow as big as your bass though and dare i say i think they look nicer than your bass. speaking of somerset bass i was there thursday and found a 54cm bass floating caught earlier id say (bloody massive photo soon!) please be careful releasing them especially at such a good size.

dam nice bass!!! the bass in my local dam arnt that big yet, most have been around 42cm to 45cm. Love to get one that big!!
