Hinze late sunday 22nd

I'm still here.
its been a while but ya get that.
with renos and the Flathead Classic time was a bit tight.
any way.
decided on a late arvo trip to hinze. the wind was up but i like to fish hinze on windy weekends.
i was only on the water for 2 hours but i'd like to think its set the bar for this summer.
4 fish landed best 40cm ,4 dropped at the boat.and 1 major bust up to a big cod.
20Lb whiplash braid did just that cracked like a whip with my thumb on the spool.
i was going to stay till dark but being a skirt i decided to go home early cos it was getting COLD.
No pics this time. i haven't down loaded my digi yet.

# #My mate and i went to the hinzey early last sunday, headed down the western arm towards Ian's island, did not make it that far as wind picked up and by 9.30 white caps in the middle. We fished on the surface early 2 hits but none landed and that was as good as i got. Just using lures casting and trolling. My worst day out in a long time :-/. Will be back though this weekend or next.
