Shark Fishing

Hi there.

In all my short years of fishing, I have never caught a shark. Just wondering if there was a good land spot for this fish in the Logan or the Brisbane River.

Phil,

The Brissy river has good numbers of river whalers through summer right through the whole system. I used to fish around the Breakfast Creek area with live mullet. The sharks would heard the baitfish into the shallower water around the rocks and give them hell. :o
I used to fish with a float, so not to sacrifice my livies to the catfish. A small length of wire will generally stop bite offs.
