Congrat's on catching jewies on lures anywhere! This is a fishing goal of mine so if you don't mind please give some more info on how you got them at Illuka.
I assume you were fishing off the rocks when you were casting "into the wash". I ask this because I have read about mulloway being caught on lures during the day, off the beach at the Murrys' mouth in SA.
Was it during the day, after a flood, overcast etc.
Thanks, Andrew.

Thanks Lyndo. I appreciate the need for secrecy. Have you ever caught any other species on the feathers when going for the jewies? Andrew.
