With the prawn season on us what, where, when, and how can I get a feed of prawns with the cast net.
WHAT...do I look for
Where.....do I find them
WHEN...do is the most likely time
HOW...do I anchor or drift along

Grunta I have always found the best method is to keep an eye out for a heavy congregation of tinnys and they are sure to be onto em . Other than that I think you just have to be Jonny on the spot.

ive heard and seen that people have been pulling prawns from the deep water bend pontoon by the bucket full.
this was a while ago when banana prawns where out.
day and night but seems to be when water is clear and night time.
(watch out for the rocks).
